A fatal car crash south of Gogama on Monday has claimed the life of a 75-year-old Iroquois Falls man.

A fatal car crash south of Gogama on Monday has claimed the life of a 75-year-old Iroquois Falls man.

On May 19, 1 p.m. Gogama OPP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 144 in Chester Township, south of Gogama.

As a result of the collision, driver Roland Lefebvre succumbed to his injuries. The female passenger in the vehicle was transported to the hospital for serious, but non-life threatening, injuries, police said.

Police report the investigation into the crash continues.
