Robber swings butcher knife at Eyre St. store clerk

Sudbury police are looking for a man in connection with a robbery on Eyre Street Sunday night.

Sudbury police are looking for a man in connection with a robbery on Eyre Street Sunday night.

At about midnight, a man went into a store and began swinging a butcher's knife and demanding money, police said. The female clerk received minor cuts on her hand.

The man then ran away, leaving the knife on the sidewalk. No suspect was found.

The man is described as 5'10" with a slim build, wearing a black balaclava, a black hoodie, jeans, and lighter-coloured gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
