A 43-year-old Sudbury man is dead following a Dupont Street fire on Boxing Day.
Greater Sudbury Police officers, 17 fire fighters from three stations and EMS workers were called around noon to the 1.5 storey home.
Philias Thisdelle lived in one of the four units of the wooden home. Thisdelle was injured in the fire and was pronounced dead after he was transported to Sudbury's hospital.
Five other people were displaced by the fire, which caused $50,000 in damages, Greater Sudbury Fire Services reported.
The Corner's office conducted a post mortem examination of Thisdelle on Dec. 27.
Police said Thisdelle's family wants friends to know funeral arrangements have been made at Jackson and
Barnard Funeral Home.
