The snowmobile driver, Andrew Cameron, 35, died in the collision. A post mortem is scheduled to be conducted on the Sault Ste. Marie resident on Friday.

OPP report the snowmachine was travelling eastbound on the westbound side of the road. The westbound motor vehicle and snowmachine met on the crest of a hill. They both swerved to miss each other and then collided.

Alcohol was not a factor and there will be no charges in this incident, police said.

OPP previously reported the man's son, 6, was in hospital with injuries.
