North Bay man in custody after deadly stabbing

North Bay police say a man is in custody and will be charged with second-degree murder following a stabbing that left another man dead.

North Bay police say a man is in custody and will face a charge of second-degree murder following a stabbing that left another man dead.

Just before noon Friday, a man was stabbed on Main Street. He was brought to the local hospital, where he died of his injuries. 

The victim has been identified by police as Gordon Pilon, 51, of North Bay.

Police say Peter James McArthur, 53, of North Bay will face a charge of second-degree murder. 

McArthur is in custody pending a bail hearing on Monday.
