Moose wanders into New Sudbury neighbourhood

A moose sauntered into the Minnow Lake area of Sudbury on Thursday morning.

A moose sauntered into the Minnow Lake area of Sudbury on Thursday morning.

Sudbury police report the moose was in a backyard on Kenwood Street, near Second Avenue.

Officers worked to keep the animal away from the roads.

The Ministry of Natural Resources responded and tranquilized the animal before relocating it.
