Mathew James Hayes faces murder charge in 'Crispy' Parsons death

A 27-year-old former Cobalt, Ont. resident has been charged with first degree murder in connection with the 2013 death of a Haileybury man.

A 27-year-old former Cobalt, Ont. resident has been charged with first degree murder in connection with the 2013 death of a Haileybury man.

Temiskaming OPP report Mathew James Hayes has been charged after the body of Christopher “Cripsy” Parsons, 42, was found inside his Ferguson Avenue apartment the morning of June 4, 2013.

Hayes is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury today.
