A Montreal man is in police custody in North Bay, accused of forcing a woman to sell sex as they travelled around Ontario.

North Bay police report they got a call from a local hotel Monday evening that a woman was being held against her will, although it is not clear if the woman was, in fact, being held against her will.

However, police said the man would find clients for the woman and take all the proceeds.

The 35-year-old man has been charged with procuring and living off the avails of prostitution, and is in custody pending a bail hearing.
