Kirkland Lake drug bust sees 45 people charged with 250 offences

The OPP have arrested 45 people in connection with a seven-month undercover drug investigation.

All were taken into custody Wednesday in the Kirkland Lake area.

Police said they focused on disrupting a drug distribution network in the area, and most of those charged are from Kirkland Lake. The suspects range in age from 17 to 59.

Police seized more than $12,000 in cash and two vehicles. The value of drugs seized is pegged at $150,000.
