A fundraiser is being held for a family in Verner that lost all 60 of their dairy cows in a fire that destroyed their barn just before Christmas.

A fundraiser is being held for a family in Verner that lost all 60 of their dairy cows in a fire that destroyed their barn just before Christmas.

The community is raising money for Paul Beadry'sfarm on Jan. 25 in Lavigne.

CBC Sudbury's Morning North radio host Markus Schwabe spoke with Beaudry Thursday morning about the fire that destroyed most of his farm and how he and his family have been coping in the aftermath of the tragedy.
