Blake Lapierre to be sentenced Aug. 28

Sudbury manslaughter convict Blake Lapierre will be sentenced in late August.

The 20-year-old received his verdict of manslaughter and assault by a jury in Sudbury last weekend.

Assignment court has set a tentative date of Aug. 28 for his sentencing.

Lapierre was convicted of killing Justin Dagenais at a Garson pit party two years ago.
