A bear spent part of Easter Sunday with its head stuck in a plastic jar, until officials in Sudbury, Ont., were able to free the animal from its predicament.

At 5:30 a.m. local time, police received a call about a bear wandering around a street in Lively, which is a part of Greater Sudbury.

They soon found the bear, which was wandering around with a jar on his head, as reported. At one point, it walked into a police cruiser.

The Ministry of Natural Resources was later contacted. The bear was tranquilized and the jar was cut off its head. The animal will be relocated, police say.
