Defence Minister Peter MacKay speaks to CBC's chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge about Canada's military in a wide-ranging interview that looks at Arctic sovereignty, spending and the future of the Armed Forces in an ever-changing world.

MacKay is gearing up for the Halifax International Security Forum, which begins tomorrow.

The full interview with the defence minister will air on Mansbridge One on One on CBC News Network at 6:30 p.m. ET.
