Toronto is becoming a city of condos, but not just among young adults and empty nesters looking for the right lifestyle in the city. At the top end of the market, luxury buyers are willing to shell out for unique units.
New York's record condo price is $90 million, while the global record is the $221 million that somebody recently paid for a pied-a-terre in London.
A Toronto broker is seeking to tie the city's record (set last year for the penthouse above the Four Seasons') at $28 million.
Boasting an expansive floor plan — 10,200 square feet on two floors — all the best amenities, and designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson, the unit is causing a buzz among the city's elite.
So, what does it look like? CBC's Amanda Lang got a tour of the unit recently. Watch a video of her visit in the player above or click here to watch it in a new window.
