Accused colonel led police to body: sources

OPP have begun searching the Ottawa home of Col. Russell Williams. (Steve Fischer/CBC)Accused killer Col. Russell Williams led police to the body of Jessica Lloyd, one of his alleged victims, sources have told CBC News.
Williams has also given a full statement to police, who are now looking at other unsolved cases based on that statement, including breaking and entering.
The news comes as police executed a search warrant at the Ottawa home of Williams, who is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of two women.
Shortly after 12:30 pm. Thursday, around a dozen Ontario Provincial Police officers arrived in two vehicles at the Westboro home carrying boxes and equipment.
They entered through the garage door and began covering all the windows with brown paper. The search warrant lasts for seven days.
Police have also been searching his home in Tweed, Ont.
Williams was arrested Sunday in Ottawa. He was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Lloyd, 27, and Cpl. Marie-France Comeau, 38.
He has also been charged in connection with two sexual assaults that occurred in Tweed in September.
Williams, a career military man who's been stationed in various cities across Canada and internationally, was arraigned and remanded into custody Monday and is scheduled to appear in court via video on Feb. 18.
As wing commander at CFB Trenton, Williams oversaw operations at the air force base.
