Dosanjh suffers heart attack

Ujjal Dosanjh, a Vancouver-area Liberal MP and former B.C. premier, is recovering in an Ottawa hospital after suffering a heart attack Tuesday, his office says.
Dosanjh, a former federal health minister, was rushed to an Ottawa hospital suffering from chest pains.

He told colleagues he felt ill during a meeting of Liberal opposition critics on Parliament Hill.
A spokeswoman for Dosanjh said he had suffered a mild heart attack and was doing fine.
Earlier in the day, Dosanjh's aides said he underwent a successful "procedure," but did not elaborate on what that procedure was.
Dosanjh, 59, was elected federally as a Liberal in 2004 and represents the riding of Vancouver South.
