Alberta oilpatch vandal Wiebo Ludwig is turning to the internet in hopes of expanding his back-to-the-land enclave in northern Alberta.
The Christian fundamentalist, released from jail in 2001 after serving 19 months for blowing up a wellsite, will soon advertise on the internet for other like-minded people to join his Trickle Creek farm near Hythe, Alta.
"We're at the point now where we're going to advertise a little bit for other people to join us," he told CBC News. "We had to get our own act together a lot, set up some infrastructure and so on, sort out our own problems and get a sense of where we need to go."

Ludwig served two-thirds of his 28-month sentence. He claimed the emissions from the wells near his farm were killing his livestock and damaging his family's health. At the time, he had about 30 followers living at the farm.
Some of Ludwig's neighbours are still angry about the unsolved death of a local teenager on his property.
Karman Willis, 16, was shot during a joy ride on Ludwig's land in 1999. The RCMP say Willis's death is still an open case.
