Botulism outbreak kills ducks in Kitchener

An outbreak of botulism has killed 200 ducks in a Kitchener park.
Parks and Recreation staff have been working overtime in Victoria Park to clear away the ducks and determine the source of the disease.
City spokesman Tom Clancy says the suspected source of the outbreak is a nearby creek.
Avian botulism is a form of poisoning of wild and domestic birds by a toxin produced by bacteria.
