RCMP raided a house in Melville earlier this week, seizing more than six kilograms of marijuana and $25,000 cash.

Four people have been arrested. Two are from Melville, one is from Yorkton and one is from British Columbia.

The arrests followed months of complaints from people in the community about suspected drug activity, police said.

The RCMP sweep started with a traffic stop that netted marijuana and cash. That led officers a few hours later to a home where the bulk of the drugs and cash were located.

A second vehicle and recreation trailer were also seized.

The investigation is continuing, and police said there may be other charges laid.
