City crews in Saskatoon repaired more than 152,000 potholes in its spring blitz.

This compares with 108,000 holes filled last year. The city did the calculation after a request from council.

The repairs included patching single holes and, in 27 instances, sending in machines to patch clusters of the holes.

In total, the city used 4,452 tonnes of asphalt. That's equivalent to 203 dump trucks of asphalt.
