Saskatoon woman in hospital after stabbing
Police have a suspect in custody
Saskatoon police major crimes and forensic investigators are at the scene of an early morning stabbing that sent a 39-year-old woman to hospital with what are being described as life threatening injuries.
In a news release, police said a 911 call came in at 1:06 a.m. CST on Tuesday from a home in the 800 block of Confederation Drive.
When police arrived they found the woman suffering from stab wounds to the neck and torso.
A 22-year-old man is now in police custody and is being investigated as a suspect in this case.
The investigation continues.
