Police are investigating after a taxi driver in Saskatoon was robbed at gunpoint this morning.

In a news release, police said a taxi driver picked up two men around 2:00 a.m. CST, and after a short drive, was told to pull over in the area of 35th Street and Avenue C.

That’s when one of the men, according to police, pulled out a handgun and demanded that the taxi driver hand over his money.

The suspects ran away on foot, and police are now trying to track them down.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
