Suspicious death on Avenue P South now being investigated as homicide

The Saskatoon Police Service's major crime unit is now investigating a suspicious death on Avenue P S. as a homicide.

A suspicious death in the 100 block of Avenue P S. on Wednesday morning is now being investigated as a homicide. 

At approximately 4:30 a.m. CST, Saskatoon police responded to a report of an injured man. The 28-year-old was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are not disclosing the nature of the man's injuries at this time. They say the man's next of kin have been notified but his name is not being released.

Anyone with information in connection with the man's death is asked to contact Saskatoon police or Crime Stoppers.
