Saskatoon police officer guilty of drunk driving
A Saskatoon police officer will learn her sentence next month on a drunk driving charge.
Constable Tara Danielson was found guilty yesterday of driving with a blood alcohol content over .08.
She was charged in March 2013 during a traffic stop while she was off-duty in Humboldt.
Danielson has been assigned to desk work with the Saskatoon City Police while her case made its way through the courts. Her status is now under review.
It will be up to the police chief to decide if any disciplinary action should be taken.
Danielson will be sentenced at the end of August.
