Saskatoon police make drug bust on Temperance Street
Saskatoon man faces a number of charges
Saskatoon police have seized more than 6 kilograms of marijuana in a drug bust that began at an apartment in the 1000 block of Temperance Street.
In a news release, police said that around 6:00 p.m. CST Thursday, a search warrant was executed at an apartment building. Inside, police said they found marijuana, psilocybin (aka magic mushrooms), drug paraphernalia, and some cash.
A 23-year-old Saskatoon man was arrested at the scene and faces a number of charges.
The investigation, however, did not end on Temperance Street.
Police said the evidence led them to a storage locker in the 300 block of 105th Street East. Inside, investigators said they found more marijuana.
The man arrested faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime.
He’s due in court Friday.
