Police in Saskatoon have charged a man after a lengthy investigation into a vehicle-pedestrian crash that left one man dead last summer.
The collision took place on Molloy Street on July 3, 2013. Police said that two men were struck by a vehicle, which then crashed into a parked pick-up truck.
Both pedestrians, a 31-year-old and a 61-year-old, were taken to hospital. The older man later died.
The 28-year-old driver was also hurt in the crash, but after a lengthy investigation he turned himself in to police this week.
He is now facing a number of charges, including impaired driving causing death and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
He’s due in court on February 18th.
