Garbage and recycling pickup dates in Saskatoon will be changing starting on Monday.
The collection schedule will change to different days depending on the neighbourhood. Residents can find their new days in their personalized print calendar, delivered earlier this month, or at the following link on the city of Saskatoon's website.
In a release sent out on Saturday, the city said it will take about two weeks to finish the transition.
Five of the city's neighbourhood's will have an extra recycling pickup day due to reduced service over the holidays. Avalon, Stonebridge and The Willows will have a pickup on Jan. 4. Lakeridge and Lakeview will have a pickup on Jan. 6.
The city said carts should be left by the curb at 7 a.m., and that these extra collection days may take up to two days to complete.
Natural Christmas trees can be dropped off, unwrapped and unbound, for composting until Jan. 31 at drop-off depots across the city.
