Saskatoon driver charged after fleeing scene of crash
The other driver was treated for injuries at the scene
Saskatoon police have charged a 30-year-old man after leaving the scene of a crash Saturday night.
The collision happened at the intersection of 8th Street and Boychuk Drive just before 10:30 p.m. CST.
Police said one of the drivers fled the scene on foot leaving the vehicle behind.
A short time later officers found the man in a home a few blocks away from the scene.
He was taken into custody and charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
The driver of the other vehicle was injured and paramedics treated the person at the scene.
Police had the intersection closed for about an hour while they investigated the crash.
