Police looking for suspects after driver slashed
Police are hunting for two suspects after a cab driver was slashed in a robbery early this morning.
It happened about 5:20 a.m. MST near an apartment complex in the 900 block of Duchess Street. The driver, of a yellow Comfort Cab van, had pulled into the complex drive.
The cab driver suffered what appeared to be a wound to his right arm, and walked to the ambulance under his own power.
In a news release, police said a man and a woman robbed the 41-year-old driver with a knife and then took off with cash. Police are not saying how much money was taken.
Police described the suspects as aboriginal, and about 25-years-old. The woman is about 5-6 and was wearing a black shirt. The man is about 5-10 with a medium build.
