Roughriders re-sign kicker Chris Milo as free agency opens
Saskatchewan has 10 free agents able to sign with any CFL or NFL team
Today is one of the most action-packed days in the CFL off-season.
The CFL free agency opened at 11 a.m. CST.
With 10 free agents unsigned on Tuesday morning, the Saskatchewan Roughriders may lose a number of players from last year's team.
Milo avoids free agency, re-signs with Riders
One player returning to the 2013 Grey Cup champion Roughriders is kicker Chris Milo.
The 27-year-old was one of the most accurate kickers in 2013, finishing second in the CFL after hitting 46 of 52 field goals (88.5 per cent).
Milo, a non-import from Laval University, will be entering his fourth season with the Riders.
Players up for grabs
On Monday, the Riders signed defensive back Paul Woldu and receiver Jade Etienne. Both Woldu and Etienne were born in Regina and played post-secondary football at the University of Saskatchewan.
Earlier this year, Saskatchewan re-signed defensive backs Macho Harris and Terrell Maze, receiver Taj Smith, but lost receiver Weston Dressler to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The following players are free agents:

- Kierrie Johnson, receiver
- Abraham Kromah, linebacker
- Jermaine McElveen, defensive lineman
