Rollover collision on Highway 11 sends 2 to hospital
Male driver, 30, charged with leaving a stop sign before safe to do so
Two women suffered serious injuries after a collision caused a rollover on Highway 11, about 18 kilometres south of Saskatoon.
According to Saskatoon RCMP, a southbound white Lexus collided with a blue Dodge Dakota driving east across the two southbound lanes of Highway 11.
It happened at about 11:30 a.m. CST Sunday.
Police said the Lexus rolled several times before coming to rest in the center of the two lanes.
The two female occupants of the Lexus, a 66-year-old and a 38-year-old, were extricated from the vehicle and transported to the Royal University Hospital with serious, but non-fatal, injuries.
The 30-year-old male driver of the Dakota has been charged with leaving a stop sign before safe to do so.
Officers are still investigating the incident.
