The river is open for business.

Fire officials say the water flow on the South Saskatchewan is back to safe levels. They still warn people to be cautious, but the rate is now one-fifth the level reached only weeks ago.

The city has re-opened the public boat launch at Kiwanis Park. It's also re-installed the safety boom near the weir.

The city also reminding people that a "pleasure craft operator card" is required for anyone taking a boat out on the water.
