Saskatchewan Roughriders running back Kory Sheets was honoured for his big game over the weekend.
Sheets was named, for the second time this season, the CFL offensive player of the week following Saturday's 30-27 win over the host Edmonton Eskimos. The 28-year-old ran the ball 24 times for 139 yards and crossed the goal-line twice.
The former Purdue University player also leads the CFL with 1,058 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 175 carries. He reached the 1,000-yard rushing mark faster than any player in the league's history.
