On one of the coldest days this winter, the power went out in the neighbourhoods of Nutana, Varsity View and Haultain. During the almost four-hour outage the City of Saskatoon posted one message to Facebook and one on Twitter saying the power was out, then another when it went back on.
Some residents felt they were left in the dark. They were unhappy with the amount of information provided, especially when it was so cold.
