The curling and skating arena in Rama, Sask., has been destroyed in a fire.

Foam Lake Fire Department posted on Facebook that they were called to the fire at 5 a.m. on Saturday morning. The Invermay Fire Department also responded.

The arena was being used as a horse training facility.

The fire department said the curling rink and lobby were a total loss, but the arena portion could be repaired.

There were no injuries.

Rama is a village located around 260 kilometres east of Saskatoon.
