Blaze breaks out on balcony late last night

Police are investigating a fire broke that out on the balcony of an apartment on the city’s west side late last night.

Emergency crews were called to the fire in the 200 block of 22nd Street West just after 10 pm CST, and were able to put out the fire, but not before it did some damage to two other balconies. No one was hurt in the fire.  In a news release, police suggest the damage was minor, about $4,000.

Still, police say the cause of this fire is suspicious, and they are investigating.
