Police are investigating an early morning stabbing on the city's west side.

It happened in a house at Murdoch Place.

At least one man was taken to hospital with a wound to his right arm. A witness told CBC that it all started when one man intervened in an argument.

"Two people got into an argument, another person took the argument wrong, got involved, attacked the two people that were in the argument, cops were called, people came, the cops came, it was settled, so," the woman said.

She didn't want to be identified.

The woman said none of the injuries were life threatening, and that "people fight all the time."

Police tape ringed the house.
