North Battleford man gets 11 years in jail for 2 shootings
26-year-old man convicted of injuring two men in two separate shootings
A 26-year-old man is going to prison after being convicted of injuring two men in two separate shootings in North Battleford.
Justin Fineday was sentenced to 11 years on Thursday.
RCMP said the first incident happened on May 25, 2013 on the 1700 block of 104th Street in North Battleford. Police said a man was standing outside a home when he was shot at by someone in a vehicle. The victim suffered several injuries but has since recovered.
The second shooting happened on Sept. 1, 2013 just before 7 a.m. CST. Another man was shot at outside a home on St. Laurent Drive.
