Charges laid in the murder of Saskatoon's Cynthia Crampton
Tyler Hurd charged with first-degree murder, Tammy Poffley charged with accessory to murder
Saskatoon Police have laid charges relation to the death of 55-year-old Cynthia Crampton.
Tyler Hurd, 33, of Saskatoon is charged with first-degree murder. Tammy Poffley of Saskatoon, 52, is charged with accessory to murder.
At around 4:30 p.m. CST on June 3, police found Crampton dead inside a home in the 400 block of Galloway Road in the city's Stonebridge neighbourhood.
Hurd and Poffley were apprehended two days later after being spotted in Asquith, Sask., about 40 kilometres west of Saskatoon.
Hurd made his first appearance in Saskatoon provincial court this morning while Poffley is expected to appear in provincial court this afternoon.
