A 38-year-old Prince Albert woman is safe after spending four days lost in the bush.

The woman was reported missing Thursday.

The land, air and water search started Sunday when the woman's car was found on the side of the road south of Weirdale. The area, northeast of Prince Albert, is heavily wooded.

Searchers found the woman Monday afternoon – about three kilometres from where her car had been found. Police say she was dehydrated, cold and had some cuts and scrapes.

She was taken to hospital in Prince Albert.
