A man was stabbed during a home invasion in Saskatoon Friday evening, police say.
It happened at a home in the 300 block of Ave W South at about 6:30 p.m. CST.
According to police, four or five aboriginal men knocked on the door of the house.
A 54-year-old man who answered the door was stabbed in the face, shoulder and hand. The suspects took off on foot.
The victim made his way to St. Paul's Hospital where police say he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police added they believe it was not a random act and that the attackers had gone to the home intent on inflicting violence.
