An 86-year-old man is dead after he was found unconcious in a pool of water on a farm road near the town of St. Denis, just east of Saskatoon.

About 7:30 p.m. CST, RCMP from Saskatoon, the STARS air ambulance, and the Vonda Fire Department rushed to the farm, after receiving a call that a man was found unconscious in standing water on a farm access road in the Rural Municipality of Grant.

In a news release, RCMP said that the 86-year-old male had been driving his ATV a short time earlier. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The family has been notified and the man’s name will not be released at this time.  

RCMP said the investigation is ongoing.
