Man, 18, dies in workplace incident at Corman Industrial Park

An 18-year-old man was killed, possibly by a piece of machinery, at a workplace in the Corman Industrial Park outside Saskatoon Tuesday, according to RCMP.

An 18-year-old man was killed, possibly by a piece of machinery, at a workplace in the Corman Industrial Park outside Saskatoon Tuesday.

RCMP said Wednesday that officers and emergency crews from Warman were called to a business at 8 p.m. CST. They found the man, who was unresponsive, and were not able to revive him.

RCMP said their initial investigation suggests the man was injured by a piece of machinery.

No name was released and no one else at the workplace was hurt.

RCMP said the investigation would be continued by the Occupational Health and Safety division of the provincial Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety.
