Eric Yee was struck by a sweet idea when he was vacationing in Italy four years ago.

The owner of the Noodle King and Ice Cream Queen in Saskatoon was inspired to make authentic Italian gelato.

Along with homemade noodles on his restaurant's menu, he now makes 32 flavours of the tasty treat that's served up in a bowl or a cone.

He imports the expensive ingredients each month from a gelato maker near Milan, Italy.
