Jury in David Woods murder trial hits the road

Jurors in the David Woods murder trial left the Saskatoon courtroom and went on a field trip today — following the route taken in January 2012 by a truck registered to Woods.

Accused is charged with 1st-degree murder of Dorothy Woods

Jurors in the David Woods murder trial left the Saskatoon courtroom and went on a field trip today — following the route taken in January 2012 by a truck registered to Woods.

The expedition will take them from his home to a spot south of Saskatoon near Blackstrap Lake. 

Woods is accused of first-degree murder in the death of his wife Dorothy.

She disappeared in November 2011. Her body was found in a culvert south of Saskatoon about two months later.
