Saskatoon police are reminding hunters to remove all valuables from their parked vehicles after a couple of overnight thefts.

On Tuesday night, thieves broke into trucks parked in two different hotel parking lots along Circle Drive N. Hunting rifles were stolen from each truck, along with ammunition and hunting equipment.

As many hunters are moving through the area right now, police are reminding visitors to the city to bring all valuables into their hotel rooms to make sure they stay safe.

Police also advise hunters to leave someone in the vehicle with their equipment while stopping to pick up supplies.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
