House fire in Saskatoon causes $175K damage

Fire crews in Saskatoon were busy Saturday morning fighting a house fire on Avenue S North.

No one injured, cause of fire still under investigation

An early morning house fire kept Saskatoon fire crews busy on Saturday morning.

At about 4:30 a.m. CST, the Saskatoon Fire Department was called to a home on 117 Avenue S N. On arrival, there was heavy smoke and fire coming from the home.

The fire caused about $175,000 in damage.  No one was injured and fire officials said the house was vacant at the time of the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
