Funeral today for Monica Domes after accident near Biggar
Family remembers Domes as a loving mother
The family of Monica Domes will hold a private funeral for her today.
Monica was killed on Tuesday after she was hit by a school bus. The 40-year-old mother was waiting for help at the side of the road, just north of Biggar, Sask.
Her twin eight-year-old boys, Michael and James, were riding home on the bus when it hit their mother.
She was born to the Eaton family in Saskatoon, and raised on a farm near Kinley, Saskatchewan. She attended Perdue High School and in June of 1995, she married her husband John Domes.
A loving mother
Her family said she will be remembered as a loving mother of her kids. Her family said Monica's children were the centre of her world and brought her happiness everyday.
Those who knew Monica said her and John and their two sons were inseparable and spent most of their time together as a family. Family also remember her as an avid lover of the outdoors and animals.
They said she always took the time to give extra care to beings that were weak and needed help.
