It's a journey around the globe and you don't even have to leave Saskatoon to see it all.

Folkfest is a three-day event where people in Saskatoon can visit 21 pavilions representing countries around the world.

There's food, dancing and a lot of cultural treasures throughout the city.

Paula Collins, a hostess at the Caribbean pavilion, said their culture is all about enjoying the heat.

"It is sunny here in Saskatchewan, so we're telling people, 'Don't feel bad that it is too hot because that is how it is," Collins said. "We want people to enjoy the food how it is - the taste, the texture, the aroma."

Passports to Folkfest are $15. The event runs until Saturday night.
