Rising waters have communities northwest of Saskatoon on high alert, and the situation is making it difficult to work and do business.
Darcy Nemanishen owns a contracting business in Langham, not far from hard-hit Radisson and Borden, but wet weather is making it hard to keep his company moving.
Nemanishen can't get his trucks out of the gravel pits because of mud.
"The stuff we are able to move around in the mud, like our trackhoes and our smaller dozers, they're extremely busy, and then our bigger equipment, it's just not going to move for quite a while yet," Nemanishen said.
Nemanishen said he's turning people away when they call for sand or gravel.
